ECHO- A community partner that provides programs and services for those seeking support for mental health and wellness. Serves adults over the age of 19 in the Burnaby community who are living with a mental health concern. Low cost foods (usually under $1) are served here as well and as long as basic etiquette is followed (NO HARM POLICY) there is no time limit to attend but you must show up at least every 6 months to keep your file active.


Can be accessed by taking the 106 New Westminster bus from Edmonds Skytrain Station. Landmarks include 7/11 and Edmonds Elementary School on the same property..

Orientation is needed upon showing up the first time (in order to check background and build rapport). You also must be referred (either by a G.P., Therapist, worker, etc). Expect a welcome package upon completion of sign-up.

Recovery focused courses and personal life programs are the main focus here. ECHO is a hub in the Burnaby area for mental health resources in the community. Offering fun, recreational and leisure opportunities (when available) with an emphasis on recovery and wellness. Any costs (meals, etc) are guaranteed to be low-income targeted and should barriers be presented, can be flexibly worked around.
